I’m Kelsey - the death doula, herbalist, and person behind Kairos.

I didn’t come to this work because it sounded beautiful. I am here because life handed me a year that changed everything - 2024.

In February, my sister died 40 days after a Stage IV cancer diagnosis.
In March, my boyfriend died by suicide.
In September, my uncle died 37 days after a nearly identical cancer diagnosis.

Grief didn’t just visit. It rearranged my entire life.

I have always leaned toward a more natural way of living, but after the deep season of loss, Traditional Chinese Medicine and western herbalism became two of the things that brought me back to life. Learning about the energetics of herbs, meridians, acupressure, and ancient ways to deal with modern issues felt like oxygen when I was drowning.

Kairos means the right time.

None of us get to control timing. But when it’s your time to need support, whether that’s at the end of life or in the middle of trying to regulate your own, I’m here to walk with you.
